Bitlish Ltd (hereafter – “the Company”) is committed to complying with both the letter and spirit of the laws and regulations applicable to the Company and its operations, including those relating to anti-money laundering, the combating of terrorist financing ("AML/CFT"), and economic sanctions.
AML/CFT & Economic Sanctions Compliance Policy
The Company takes a risk-based approach when adopting and implementing AML/CFT measures and in conducting AML risk assessments.
The Company adopted internal AML/CFT controls and make independent decisions regarding AML/CFT matters supersedes any business, strategic or other operating task.
Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence
Before establishing a relationship with a new Customer/Counterparty, the Company takes reasonable and appropriate measures, as determined by applicable law, to identify and verify the identity of the Customer/Counterparty. The Company designates its own CDD and EDD methods consistent with local law and the aim of this Policy, including the involvement of any third party.
The Company takes appropriate measures to be assured that Customers/Counterparties do not provide false representations as to their identity. If AML officer has reason to believe that a Customer/Counterparty provided false identification information, he will conduct EDD on such a person.
Bitlish customers are prohibited to provide false or misrepresented information about their identity. Failing to provide accurate information about Customers identity automatically leads to the termination of relationships according to the Terms of Service.
The Company is prohibited from transacting with any persons that are the target of counter-terrorist and terrorist financing, weapon non-proliferation, counter human and narcotic trafficking and other relevant sanctions imposed by governmental authorities.
Bitlish does not provide its service for the citizens or residents of any of the following countries: USA, Vietnam, Iceland, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), Myanmar, Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iraq, Guyana, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Syria, Uganda, Yemen, Lao PDR, Ecuador, Sudan, the Lebanese Respublic, Libya, the Islamic Republic of Pekistan, Nigeria, Kuwait, Quatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, the State of Palestine.
